A true 30+ year barn find. One of only 809 examples produced. The 365 GT 2+2 was presented at the Paris Salon in 1967, and it was the biggest and most luxurious Ferrari model to date, conveying forward the developing interest for faster vehicles with convenience for up to four travelers. Its low-thrown fastback configuration was made and built by Pininfarina. 

There was a large group of standard gear that included power steering, power brakes, and a self-leveling out suspension system, a first for Ferrari. Other Ferraris from the time came outfitted with rear-mounted transaxles, but the 365 2+2 gearbox was mounted in unit with the motor sending power to a conventional rear differential. Under the smooth hood is Ferrari's strong 4.4-liter V-12 finished off with three twin-choke Weber carburetors creating 320 bhp, enough to push this extravagance GT to speeds more than 145 mph.

In 1969, Road & Track dubbed it The Queen Mother of Ferraris, a name by which many Ferrari enthusiasts affectionately refer to it today. The 365 GT 2+2 is to automobiles what Abe Lincoln was to menthat is to say, great, the author went on to say. It will do almost anything an automobile would be asked to do: cruise at 150 mph, creep along in traffic, carry the wife and kids shopping or on a cross-country tripall in air-conditioned comfort.
