2006 Jeep Wrangler LJ Unlimited Rubicon
The ‘LJ’ Wrangler, introduced in 2004, is a long-wheelbase TJ, providing additional space and greater towing capacity (+1500 lbs).
Many report the longer wheelbase offers a superior off-roading experience as well, made even better by the Rubicon upgrades.
The Rubicon LJ, only offered in 2005 and 2006, added:
– Dana 44 axle in the front,
– Front and rear air-lockers
– 4:1 low-range transfer case
